Trey + Maddie

The sweetest proposal. Although things didn't go exactly as planned...

Things started typically enough. Trey selected a really nice restaurant that we scouted out earlier that week, along with our mutual friend, Jane. We made sure the hosts were in the loop, selected the spot, and came up with a plan.

After arriving "early" to the restaurant that day, Trey and Maddie would wander the beautiful area along the river. They would happen upon my husband and I, then Trey would ask me to take their picture. After one or two shots, I would switch cameras and he would pop the question! 

While things went mostly as planned, the location did not work out. Turns out no one knew they had a wedding ceremony planned for that day at the exact same time and place... ​

After a quick switch to the beautiful bridge right nearby (and a near panic attack for Trey), things went off without a hitch. And she said yes!  

Even Jane showed up for the surprise, along with some roses. All in all, it was a success! So honored to have been a part of this beautiful day. 

The beginning of a beautiful, happily ever after.
