The sweetest proposal. Although things didn't go exactly as planned... Things started typically enough. Trey selected a really nice restaurant that we scouted out earlier that week, along with our mutual friend, Jane. We made sure the hosts were in the loop, selected the spot, and came up with a plan. After arriving "early" to the restaurant that day, Trey and Maddie would wander the beautiful area along the river. They would happen upon my husband and I, then Trey would ask me to take their picture. After one or two shots, I would switch cameras and he would pop the question! While things went mostly as planned, the location did not work out. Turns out no one knew they had a wedding ceremony planned for that day at the exact same time and place... After a quick switch to the beautiful bridge right nearby (and a near panic attack for Trey), things went off without a hitch. And she said yes! Even Jane showed up for the surprise, along with some roses. All in all, it was a success! So honored to have been a part of this beautiful day. The beginning of a beautiful, happily ever after.

I am a concise and honest person.
I appreciate the uniqueness of people, so the genuine, quirky ones are my favorite. I am drawn to emotion, passion, fun - the things that make life worth living. I am fascinated by memory, nostalgia, fleeting time, the connections between people and objects, and the enduring bond of family and friendship. My instinct is to capture these moments: the details, the sounds, the light. Time passes and memory fades, but I have the power to preserve these details forever. So I do. I love to tell stories, but as an honest and concise person I am not an effective orator. I much prefer text, images, and video where conciseness enhances the story and audiences appreciate honesty. This is who I am as a videographer, photographer, writer, designer, and person. I am fortunate enough to be one of those people who can be who they are, do what they love, and love what they do. And there you have it. |
